Bass fishing is Great and some good largemouth are being caught in really shallow water anywhere from 1-4ft. Way back in the creeks in the upper lake. The water in the mouth of the creeks is stained, as you go deeper in however, the water clears and there lie the fish. They have gathered in the clear water and hanging off of submerged tree tops and hanging at confluences of submerged creek channels. Shallow running crank baits and jigs are catching these fish.  Secondary points and shallow brush in the bays of the main lake are producing some good bass on Rat L Traps and shallow running crank baits like the new Gizz3 and Gizz4. The Spotted Bass are active and they are showing up on gravel or rocky secondary points. Rat L Traps, Crank Baits and Spinner Baits are catching these pre spawn fish.
Crappie fishing is great and some good stringers of fish are starting to be caught trolling. Little River and  Little Spring Creek are producing some good trolling action on  1/24th ounce Jiffy Jigs in colors   JJ12, JJ13, JJ15, JJ17, JJ20, JJ24,  www.jiffyjigs.com, The Riverside area is also producing some fish trolling. The lower Chattooga River is producing some fair stringers on a float and fly technique with Jiffy Jigs about 6 ft deep on the edges of the old river channel, Goodyear cove in the Chattooga river is producing some fish trolling.
Striper fishing is fair and they have started their migration up the Chattooga River and the Coosa River, cut shad on the bottom on a carolina rig is a great way to catch these pre spawn fish. A few stripers are starting to be caught behind plant Hammond and at the Mayo Lock and Dam below Rome Georgia.
Catfish are biting good and they are being caught in the flats and coves in 3-6 feet of water on cut shad.
